Where do I go to train?

Underneath the eastern end of the Anzac Bridge on Bank Street. Follow the signs for the Fish Markets, drive along Bank Street with the fish market on your left , straight on for around 200 meters until you are under the bridge, there is a gate of your left with parking or parking on the street at the parking meters.

What shall I wear?

You will get wet. A short sleeved T-shirt or rash vest and board shorts or lycra sports shorts are good. A light pair of track suit pants is fine. If it’s cold, an old fleece, preferably with short sleeves. Surf shoes or an old pair of sneakers, both fine for the feet. It can get slippery on the boat ramp so best to avoid thongs. A cap will protect you from the sun, together with an old pair of sun glasses.

What else do I need to bring?

A water bottle, you’ll need that to keep you hydrated along the way. We have an indeminity form you’ll need to complete before you start paddling which we will provide you on the day.
